The Humboldt Reid-Thompson Public Library is located at 705 Main Street, next door to City Hall. It is part of the Wapiti Regional Library.
The library offers a large collection of books and periodicals, and a pleasant place to sit and read in the bright sun-lit front of the library.
It also provides computers and Internet connection for public use as well as an Early Literacy Station for Toddlers to Grade 5.
*NEW* A "digital" youth intern is available until March 2014 to assist community individuals, groups, or businesses with digital information and communications technology needs. Tutorials or individual sessions on topics such as general computer use or Microsoft programs to Internet and social media use can be arranged! All tutorials or sessions are free to the public. Contact the library to make an appointment.
Programs Storytime Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 years is held Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m. from October to April.
Adult Book Club The Adult Book Club meets on the first Tuesday each month from September to June.
Summer Reading Club The TD Summer Reading Club is a joint initiative with Library and Archives Canada. All programs are FREE - some programs require registration so sign up early. Registration for the TD Summer Reading Club takes place at the Library.
