Construction & Traffic Safety

The City of Humboldt will be undertaking many construction projects through the 2009 season. Please be aware of construction zones, adhere to safety signage and be considerate of work crews in and around the City.

Highway #5 West will see considerable changes this summer and fall. Please proceed with care in this area. The intersection of Highway #20 and 14th Avenue (near the new Hospital) will also see substantial construction this year. Please be aware of these two areas.

Funding for St. Peter's College and Carlton Trail Regional College Announced

The federal and provincial governments announced today that St. Peter's College, in Muenster, and Carlton Trail Regional College, in Humboldt, will receive over $13 million for knowledge infrastructure funding to provide new educational training opportunities for students. Kids Summer Fun Program

The Kids Summer Fun Program is coordinated by the City of Humboldt Leisure Services Department. This program is designed to provide an exciting, fun and educational experience for kids during the summer months and is based out of the Humboldt Uniplex Curling Rink. The program runs in one week intervals throughout the summer with knowledgeable staff planning and implementing high quality programs. To register please contact (306) 682-2597.
